In this post I would like to introduce you with Macedonian woodcarving, which according to archaeological findings in Macedonia has a millennium tradition. The work of Macedonian woodcarvers and their insistence the traditional art of wood processing to get a new function in modern life, connects the tradition and unbroken continuity in the development of Macedonian woodcarving. Continuity can be followed from 13 to 19 century when the woodcarving flourished, until today.
This post I want to dedicate to my father which I am proud of. He is a woodcarver with twelve years of experience and has produced a number of works of art. One such work of art is priceless and it takes time and patience to make it and the most important thing is that it all hand made. I know the entire process of making, and mainly i help around all the drawing involved during making of these pieces of art.
